Indivisible CA 45 Live Group Meeting for the Month of May

Join Indivisible CA 45 for an in-person AND zoom meeting at the end of the month of May.

Out featured speaker is an expert on legislation addressing housing and homelessness in the California Assembly.

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva has accepted our invitation to speak to us on these and other matters this month.

We will also review Indivisible CA-45 actions that have been taken in May, including the May 17 protest at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda.

We will preview upcoming activities for June, such as an Unhappy Birthday for trump on June 14, and other actions we will take to fight for our democracy.

She is regarded as probably the strongest advocate for the unhoused people in Southern California.
Her credentials in this field include:

• Quirk-Silva currently chair’s a budget sub-committee which has jurisdictions including fiscal policies affecting housing, homelessness, veterans affairs, labor, employment, consumer protection, elections, etc.
• Is a member of Committee on Housing and Community Development
• Chaired the former Select Committee on Orange County Homelessness and Mental Health Service
