DESCRIPTION:We will visit Derek’s office in Cypress every 2 weeks at 1:30\, \n6803 International Ave. Suite 100 Cypress 90630 \nA carpool will meet at 1 PM in the parking lot at the old Coco’s Restaurant on the south-east corner of State College and Imperial\, next to the 57 freeway. We expect to return to the carpool place at 2:30 to 3 PM. \n\nThank you for your interest in making an office visit to Derek Tran’s district office this Friday\, August 22! We will meet at the office: 6803 International Ave\, Suite 100\, Cypress 90630 at 1:30. \nA carpool will meet at 1 PM in the parking lot at the old Coco’s Restaurant on the south-east corner of State College and Imperial\, next to the 57 freeway. We expect to return to the carpool place at 2:30 to 3 PM. Maps and directions will be provided. \nThe purpose of our visit is to thank Derek for any recent legislation/ votes and to encourage his support for upcoming legislation. Generally\, we only have a couple of minutes to talk with the office staff. Our comments will be written on comment cards (either provided at the office or by Debbie Langenbacher). Usually we talk with an intern or staff member. The purpose of the visit is to develop a relationship with the district office staff as well as to briefly share our support and to increase our visibility in the district. \nAmong our asks will be for an in-person town hall. We will also be picking up flyers regarding protections for immigrants and workers to share with Indivisible CA45 members at our general meeting on Saturday\, August 23. We will be asking folks to share the flyers to be posted at local small businesses and schools at our meeting.
